Atlas is a print-on-demand and digital magazine, geared at the promotion of the next generation of fashion creatives. It is free to view online in the whole world, via Issuu.com/theatlasmagazine, and available to purchase in print on a print-on-demand basis via MagCloud. Produced 4 times a year, our online issues currently reach in the realm of 2 million people per issue.
Please send submissions in PDF format to email@example.com before the final submission deadline. Please make the subject of your email: “Atlas Magazine Submission.” We will not download WeTransfer or Dropbox files in the submission phase.
The Timeless Issue – Submissions will open on June 1st 2016 and close on July 31st 2016. Release will be September 1st 2016.
The Aura Issue – Submissions will open on September 1st 2016 and close on October 31st 2016. Release will be December 1st 2016.
You are free to interpret this theme in anyway you like. Look it up in a dictionary, or take whatever feeling it gives you and run with it. Just let us know how you define the theme in your submission email. Check out our Pinterest for more inspiration — we always make pinboards to go with the themes.
Make sure you’ve taken a look at our previous issues, as well as our various social media platforms to see what we’re all about, our aesthetic, what we look for, etc.
All Atlas submissions must be unpublished. There are no exceptions to this, exclusivity is an absolute.
In fashion editorials, there must be at least four outfit changes.
Please include all team credits in a word document.
Submissions will be accepted or declined as they come in. We receive a huge amount of emails every day and try our very best to reply to everyone. Sadly though, it is difficult to do so. If you do not hear back from us within two weeks, please take this as an unsuccessful submission, but do not feel that you cannot submit again at a later date.
If your work is accepted, please send us high resolution files at 300 dpi sized for A4 via WeTransfer. The images must all be clear of text or graphics, unless otherwise stated. We hold the right to drop editorials if they no longer fit the magazine.
Atlas wants to be able to protect its artists and give them a clear understanding of the terms and conditions of submitting work to the magazine. Therefore when any work is accepted to be featured in the magazine, a ‘rights to use’ contract will be signed by Olivia Bossert and the artist in question.
The copyright of your work will always remain yours.
