Atlas Magazine is an inspirational fashion-forward publication geared at the promotion of the next generation of fashion creatives. We offer a platform for young up and coming artists to show off their work and speak out. Atlas is the place people go to seek inspiration.
Founded in 2012 by Megan Breukelman and Olivia Bossert, each issue is themed and submission based. We transitioned from a purely online magazine to a print and digital magazine in December 2014. We release print magazines biannually, digital “Mini Atlas'” quarterly, and daily content on our website. You can follow us on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr for frequent updates! If you’d like to submit your work, find our submission details here. Or if you’re interested in reading our current issue, head to Mini Atlas.
Megan and Olivia had met online and shared common interest in the worlds of photography, fashion and media. From the initial idea, Atlas grew through a variety of issues and transitions, each besting the last. Megan and Olivia finally met in person in the Spring of 2014, an exciting feat for two young entrepreneurs working side-by-side–– from across the globe. With Megan based in North America and Olivia in Europe, the two bring different worldly perspectives to the creation of Atlas.
The summer of 2014 brought with it the addition of a team member, Jessica Bailey, as Atlas’ graphic designer. She redesigned the logo and brought to Atlas to the professional design flair it had so desperately been craving. In the Winter of 2015, Jasmin Rauha joined the team as Web Editor and has been an incredible addition to the team, bringing varied and original content to the website on a daily basis.
